Moorcroft Wood Halloween Event
A massive thank you to all the families that joined us on Thursday evening for our first ever Halloween event. Whether it was pumpkin carving, getting faces painted, sitting round a camp fire eating s’mores, carving pumpkins or enjoying a spooky story in the woods, it was fantastic to see so many smiles from both the children and adults!
We would also like to say a special thank you to Lichfield Maize Maze, Tesco Willenhall store and those who donated decorations and clothing for the event. This generosity really that helped make it so memorable.
These events take a lot of planning and organising, so we would like to especially thank Miss Perry and Mr Leese for everything they did in pulling the event together, and all staff that gave up their own time on the night to create so many fantastic memories for our community.

Harvest Donations
Supporting the Black Country Food Bank
A massive thank you to everyone in our community who donated to our harvester collection over the last month. We appreciate the difficult times that we are living in and despite this, your generosity really will benefit those less fortunate. Our donation were handed over to the Back country Food Bank by some members of our school leadership team this week, and will go a long way to helping those most in need.

Pizza Party
On Thursday this week, we celebrated children who achieved a perfect 100% attendance over this 8 week half term. This is a massive achievement and was celebrated with over 120 children who had not missed a single session over the academic year so far. All these children came together and had their very own pizza party, being treated to pizza, chips and even some nuggets! All food was provided by Aladdin’s Pizza, Wednesbury branch (01902 936400 / https://aladdinspizza.co.uk/) who we would like to say a massive thank you to for supporting the entire Lighthouse Trust on rewarding those children with perfect attendance. Children’s attendance percentages will now reset for the next half term, so every child has another chance of being invited to the next half term “Pizza Party”. Who will get the magical invite next term?Book Bus
